Journalism Article
Yes, I think that journalism should be placed with technology. Whether people like it or not, there will always be a new, better way of doing things. Most people don't even buy newspapers anymore because they can easily go to Yahoo News or ajc.com and see the same information for free. The man in the article is too old school and he needs to get up to date. If we keep doing things the old way, we will never progress in life. The old man probably doesn't see the point of learning how to use technology in journalism classes because he is refusing to be open minded about the transition. Journalism is never going to disappear, it is just going to adapt to a brand new style and be more efficient with the use of technology.

I agree with you, we are constantly changing in society and the old must advance with the new if they wish to stay relavent to society
ReplyDeleteThis was very well said. I agree with you Cody and I pretty much said the same thing, just a little less "raw" and more conserved but with similar opnions.
ReplyDeleteTechnology just makes everything easier. Journalism shouldn't be cheated because it takes great skill time & originality to be a great journalist & reporter. Don't get me wrong, somethings need to go along with the advances but if it doesn't make things easier & BETTER then it doesn't need to advance, or change.
