I can see where Mencher is coming from, but I do believe that he should open to the ideas and technologies of today. He has obviously been in the game for awhile now, so it appears to me like he is just having a hard to adjusing to the new ways. I believe that he should continue to preach the value of real journalism but through this find a way to connect the old way and the new technology. Journalism schools should also take this into consideration when producing the class outline and requirements.
