my plan for my final project

in my project for the last grade. i plan to complete a documentary . i will do a story on the street life in the ghetto life. A documentary is any video or film that informs viewers about a topic or issue. Many documentary films provide us with educational information. Others just describe certain people. Many people think making a documentary is easy. However, making a documentary is not as easy as it seems. Follow this tutorial for some tips on creating your own, good documentary film. So i will bring ideas from other documentaries that will help my video be successful.

entetainment reporter

a entertinament reporter is a very unique reporter to become one you must do require the follow requirements:

  • Get a Bachelor’s degree. To become an entertainment reporter, you’ll need a degree in journalism or communications. Hence, you’ll learn the ins and outs of reporting, which includes how to find newsworthy stories, how to write an entertainment piece and how to report the facts.

    Gain experience in college. Having a college degree isn’t enough. Persons who become entertainment reporters started their careers early. Join your college newspaper and become a reporter. Entertainment reporters have a tough job. You’ll have to ask inquiring questions, which takes a certain amount of boldness. This isn’t a skill you learn overnight.

    Develop a passion for entertainment news. If you’re not interested in celebrity gossip or entertainment news, you won’t make a good entertainment reporter. Regularly read celebrity news websites and stay up-to-date on the latest happenings around Hollywood.

    Write columns and articles for an entertainment magazine or blog. To be a good reporter, you have to be a good writer. Prior to finding an actual entertainment reporting job, attempt to find a freelance opportunity with a celebrity magazine, or create your own entertainment news blog.

    Apply for an internship. Although internships aren’t paid opportunities, this is a perfect way to get your foot in the door and build a resume.     I will use use motion graphics in the beginning , middle and end of my final exam. Motion Design uses graphic design principles in a filmmaking or video production context through the use of animation or filmic techniques. Examples include the kinetic typography and graphics you see as the titles for a film, or opening sequences for television or the spinning, web-based animations, three-dimensional station identification logo for a television channel. I will use this to bring life to my short film.
    For my Final exam Project I plan too use motions to end and begin my documentary. As well as do alot of voice overs.

    For my final exam project I will include Motion Graphics, Motion Graphics are graphics that are used in a video and/or animation that create the illusion of motion or a transforming appearance. I will most likely use motion graphics in the beginning and/or end of my video. Hopefully it will catch the attention of my audience and make watching the video more interesting.     I plan on using a lot of animated graphics in my prezi presentations and the reason why I say this because I will use animated graphics so that my prezi will be interesting and appealing to my classmates. I want my final exam video will be presentable and interesting to watch for my broadcast video class

    I didn't do anything special I simply looked some of my stuff up online and I used knowledge I already  had of this profession and I put it all together on my board. It wasn't very hard, just a matter of knowing what to look for.

    My final video will have a great feel of creative graphics to make it a good short film and I will try to use the motion to make the video interesting and entertaining to the audience.

    I Plan to Equip many internet tools to present the motion graphics. I have considered many mircosoft and windows programs that could be of great use. I am very fluent with windows photo story, and microsoft move movie maker. After I also we use youtube for the editing process, such as trimming and organization.

    In my final exam video I would love to have very intricate and interesting graphics. However, we don't have the different types of software for me to do that, so instead we'll use motions and maybe another software from home. I would like for our intro and closing to have animated figures to grab and keep the audiences attention.

    I plan to use lots of animated graphics in my prezi presentation. The animated graphics that I would choose to use are mainly going to be focused on the transitions from screenshot to screenshot of my prezi project. The graphics are going to be very noticeable and very pleasant to the eye.

    Motion Graphics

    In my graphic video for my final project, I plan to use graphics. I want my final product to be presentable and interesting to watch. I think it is necessary and important for any short film like the one that I have to have a various amounts of visual effects.

    What about Motions?

    Because we are doing a final video product for this pathway, I think that it would be very easy to incorporate  graphics into the assignment. I'll meet with my group and we'll discuss our project and see how we are going to includes everyones creativity. One idea is that or each topic or new sub heading we could use like some type of slide show opening, with music or something. There are many different ways we could use motions it's just a matter of meeting with my group & actually coming up with other great ideas that will produce an amazing final project for Ms. Mamane.

    I will meet with my group and open up motions. I already learned how to work with motions pretty well so I won't have trouble using it. I will make a great opening and closing while incorporating great visual effects to make it look cool. I will then ask my group members if there is any way that i can make it better, and act on their review.

    I plan to first meet with the group to find out how they want to shoot the video then after how they want to form the graphics and put them into place in the video... From transferring from one room to the next or from one acceptance letter to the next etc. an more graphics that go along with our title and the whole theme of our film.....

    My final exam video will be on how to use cameras in Broadcast Video Production. I plan on using motion graphics every 10 seconds in my video to bring out the main idea of my video.

    First, I plan to meet with my group members and decided what type of graphics we all are happy with. Then, I plan to see if anyone of my group has prior knowledge of graphic and can sort of help me along. If all else fails I'll just stay for tutorial and just play around with Final Cut Pro.

    Using and understanding GFX on final cut pro and motions. I would like to use graphic for the beginning and end of my final. somethubg not overly dramatic and classic. First I need to understand the standards. Then after I do that I will put it in the beginning and the end of the video. I know the basics of Final Cut Pro and motions so I think I can put up something about BVP

    I will sit down and actually think about what I want my video to contain. The objective, and what story I want the video to tell.
    I will break it down in steps and figure out how to create them.

    Motion Graphics

    In my 3-5 min video, I plan to use motion graphics to put emphasis on important parts. Or I would use them to get my point across or show what I want to be paid attention to. Motion Graphics will also allow my video to be more interesting. It will add more flavor to my presentation. The motion graphics may even lengthen my video.

    Final Exam Project

    In my 3 to 5 min. video for my final, motion graphics will be used in the scenes where it's most suitable for a dramatic effect as such. When I want something to stand out or be quickly noticed, to give all viewers a entertaining showing of whats going on, thats when motion graphics will come into play. I think it is necessary & important for any short film like the one that was particularly assigned to us to have some sort of visual effects i.e. - "motion graphics." I'm like not at all aware of how to create motion graphics for a video, but it might be fun to learn how for my final & future projects.

    I plan to use many motion graphics in my final video product from the beginning to the end. I think this will help grasp the attention to any who views my video. The point of me incorporating each motion graphic will be to help others to understand, stay focus, learn and enjoy the video presented.

    I use graphics in the beginning, middle, and the end.  Graphics will help viewers better understand our project and not just be bored with text or just information, and have fun and be entertained.

    Blog #6 - Sportscaster

    I first gathered information I thought was needed to become a sportscaster. Then I got all the other information that was neccessary. Getting the info for my poster helped gave me a much better look on the sportscasters job and what they do.

    In my project, I plan to use motion graphics. motion graphics are graphics that use video and/or animation technology to create the illusion of ,option or transforming appearance. I will use it in mostly the middle part of my project. 

    PR Poster

    I chose PR as my poster because that is  what i would like to do when I get older. The field is easy to work in, you don't exactly need a college degree even though it would help with your status within that job. You can just intern and work your way up in the buisness

    I plan on adding graphics through animation software and video fusing. The samr way ive done videos in the past and added transitions pictures, I plan to use the same method for.things like my title and other aspects. The use for me would be to enhance the creativity and interest from views for my presentation.

    Career Investigation

    I.used my poster board to state.the basic facts of what it takes to obtain my career of lighting technician. I see the salary is something that I would not be comfortable with in.real life. The minimum is aroumd $35,000 & for a secure for myself I need $200,000 and more. This career takes further education of college or trade to learn the skills needed for this job. In most cases you do need certification to earn a position on someones set.

    Last week I created a poster board on my topic: Actor/Actress. The steps I complete to develop a success poster board:

    ♦ Research the skills required (i.e. education, talent, and qualifications)

    ♦ Research the annual salary

    ♦ Search for pictures of actor/actress (i.e. Hollywood, televisions shows, and movies)

                        

    Plans For Final Exam

    I plan to use animated graphics in my video. The intro. will have a lot of animated graphics to gasp the viewers attention and making my video awesome. After the intro. I will then go into my interviews on my topic which would lead to other clips. I will also end the video with animated graphics:)

    I plan on using motion graphics in my final project. To better understand how to incorporate them in my final, i would first have to know what they are. Motion graphics create and optical illusion to make things look as if they are transforming or in motion. I will have to pinpoint certain places to incorporate motion graphics in my final although. Therefore i will need to know how to use the motion graphics software, and then i can use them in my final project.

    Methodology

    Last weeks posterboard assignment was easy. I just followed my outline, the rubric, and used prior knowledge to gather information about my job. I colored and got pictures from the internet to paste on my posterboard to manifest real-life examples. This posterboard project has helped me understand my more in-depth, below the surface.

    Created a poster assignment

    The creating a poster assignment last week helped me to gain knowledge of the skills and methods to become a top chief engineer in a video production. I researched the skills, attitude, salary, interesting facts, and the educational requirements needed for my type of work. The posterboard was a valuable way for me to learn about the career I picked.

    Creating this poster helped me make my prezi a lot easier. I posted pictures that were centered around my theme and wrote facts around my themes as well. Having this poster allowed me to understand what needed to go on my Prezi also. I could better center it based off my poster.

    Creating the poster taught me about the many job offerings on Graphic Design. It also taught me that you must have to have your own "fingerprint" in the business. That your designs need to represent you and be unique.

    Methodology

    Editor in Chief – When creating my poster board on my career, I found out what it means to be an “Editor in Chief”. Before this career investigation project I had no idea what an editor in chief was; but after doing some research and actually learning about the career I discovered that this is an interesting career not many people look to become an editor in chief but the ones who do have broad skill set. For example you have to be a leader, responsible, a great reader and writer and also creative to look into this career.

    When doing my research I used my poster as a basis. I researched each topic from the poster in more detail and more in depth.That way I could better understand the camera operator.

    The poster board we had to create was an eye opener. While creating the poster board a news analyst became of interest to me and caused me to wonder if all broadcasting jobs were that interesting, so I researched many more and found its lots of well paying jobs out there, many outside the norm.( doctors and lawyers)

    Poster Board

    Creating my poster board helped me to understand the skills, and tools needed to becoma a news editor. It was also a creative way in helping students learn about their career. In trying to complete my posterboard i first researched the skills, attitude, pay,intresting facts, and educational requirements needed to be a newspaper editor. I then summarised my information into these categories and used it to create a well informed poster.
    One of the most important things book editors do is acquire books. Book editors read manuscripts (aka unpublished drafts of books and decide whether the work should or should not be bought and then sold to the public. That decision usually comes down to taste and an eye for the market. Another aspect of an editor’s job entails cultivating relationships with authors. Book editors are ultimately looking to discover new talent, publish them as unknowns, and then continue working with them as they build a bigger audience. For this reason many authors will have only one editor for most of their career.

I search in google a production assistant and found a certain site that showed me everything they do and even searched images to see what kind of production assistants there are in the world .... I learn the salary cap for them and what kind of education they had to have and skills they needed to be a production assistant ...

    I personally like watching HBO and movie channels more than I do watching regular television shows on regular television networks. I often watch "True Blood" with my mother, and I've taken a new interest in "House of Lies"! I also love ABC and their hit shows "Modern Family" and "Happy Endings"

    When I started to make my poster, first i researched my BVP career. I used smaller categories to make research less broad and in more detail. After i found my information i put it into small groups and make sure the information was accurate. Next i just put my information into bullet points and finished the poster.

    when i created my poster board for my career choice, did research on the internet. i chose the job of an entertainment host. the qualities an entertainment host needs is to be very friendly, well spoken, appealing to the camera, etc. their income is very good.

    I was able to gather my information for my poster board by creating subheadings for my poster. By cresting the subheadings, it allowed me to research the various topics within my branch of an executive producer. From completing the poster board activity, I was able to figure out how much an executive producer makes, the attitude that is expected from them, education level, as well as what is required of them.

    Three Thing I've Learned

    I learned that being a anchorman you should be very professional while on air. You should dress in business casual type of clothes. Also you should speak in very proper grammar because you are broadcasted to a listening audience.

    Three Thing I've Learned

    In researching my topic on what it takes to be a News Anchor, I was able to learn a lot. I learned that a requirement is for you to have a bachelors degree in mass communications. As a skill you must be comfortable in front of the camera, making people want to watch you. Also, I learned that you can learn to be a news anchor through job training ( internship, magazines, news papers, radio stations, or television)

    Career Poster Board

    In order to mold this project, I did an abundance of research on what an anchor was. Once I became knowledgable on who they were, I went more into debt finding out what they do, skills required, education needed, and also annual salary earned. In creating this project, I was able to express my creative  style while still understanding a topic. I believe my poster possess an elaborate color scheme and accurate information that allows my readers to have a full understanding of this career. I learned a lot of information on what it really takes to be an anchor. 

    Photography

    My Job That I Chose Was Photography, doing this project has taught me that:

    • Being in photography you have to be willing to sit in any type of weather to capture a story needed.
    • In photography there are a lot of people that work as a company and some that work individually, but working alone is much harder.
    • And Better cameras get better pictures.

    Poster Board Methodology

    I first started off by basically researching my topic the exact same day I got it which was "News Director" I learn alot of thing about a News Director that really never thought off. After I got all my research I started designing my poster board and putting all the necessay info on it to make it look presentable and lucky, everything turn out looking great. But by researching this topic, it caught my attention and help me learn alot and it also open up another career option for me to look into because it interest me

    A news director controls the news gallery during the news output. an individual at a broadcast station or network or a newspaper who is in charge of the news department. In local news, the news director is typically in charge of the entire news staff, including journalists, news presenters, photographers, copy writers, television producers, and other technical staff. The director also keeps track of how the show is going, as well as talking to the producer to get things going.
