- An executive producer can be a well-known producer or director who is in the industry that lends his/her name out to give the production more credibility.
Examples: Steven Spielberg, George Clooney, Sean "Puffy" Combs
- Can also be a person who found and bought the literary property that a film is based on.
That is nice to know that executive producers can buy the literary property of the film.
