Should student journalists have the same rights as professional journalist?

I do believe that student journalist should have the exact same rights & guidelines as a professional journalist because journalism is a very professional job with detailed and strict requirements. A student journalist will have the same exact tasks, as i seen in the YouTube video. He was asking someone of authority very detailed & important questions. He handled the interview in a very professional manner. He made sure that he had a response for anything they Senator may have said during that interview. He had back up questions & everything. There is only one way to handle an interview, and that is professionally. So with that being said, the rights, guidelines, requirements & expectations of an high school student journalist & a professional journalist should be the exact same.
