This past week, I have listened to Frank and Wanda in the morning and I noticed they have a jingle as well as entusiasm. Since it's early in the morning, they have to have some sort of energy because they have to be able to get the listener's attention. There aren't dj's in the morning, but in the afternoon, the mood of the radio is more up beat because everyone is out from school and work. In order to have an effective radio show, you have to be able to have enthusiasm as well as being able to relate to relate to the common people. They often have commercials and advertisements which fund the radio stations, but also keeps the listener's attention by providing other information that is important to the listeners. Catchy jingles also keep the listeners attention because they have their signature theme.
