News story on Whitney Houston
Yesterday I watched CNN after I got the news that Whitney Houston died. It was the Piers Morgan show at night and it wasn't the typical 6 o'clock news show that I was used to. He was talking about the story as information was pending so it was kind of more exciting. They were showing a recent or last Whitney Houston appearance which made it harder to believe she was not here any more. It sounded like he was reading from a computer or phone because he did say someone was doing something from their blackberry.

I've heard the news too. I haven't been this shocked since Michael Jackson's death. I've seen a clip of her last performance on tv as well, but it was a very short clip.
ReplyDeleteTragic and unexpected. And i agree with Chris I haven't been that shock since Michael Jackson's death. It's wierd how many of us think legends can out live everybody and be utterly shock when that is not the case
ReplyDeleteI heard this news and it was a major tragedy to the music community. Coincidentally the musically inclined celebrities have passed away prior to major award shows (MJ before BET, Amy Winehouse before VMAs, and now Whitney Houston before the Grammys)
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Tiffany. I, like Chris and Taisjah, was shocked at learning of Houston's death. But Michael Jackson's death was harder for me. I grew up idolizing MJ and I cried like a baby when I heard the news of his death. Houston will be missed. JALEN! My boy! Great info. Looks like you've been doing some investigative reporting. KUDOS!
ReplyDeleteThis came as a big surprise to me to find out about this death, it really is hard to see star go with so much talent. Today on BET they had a memorial for her death and played a lot of her old videos.
