things I learned..

Coming into the BVP pathway late at the second semester of 10th grade, I had a lot of pre -consumptions about this class. I thought it would be easy and a low maintenance job to do, but I realized that it takes way more to do some of the things in this business. The first task that I learned how to do was write a split page script referring to any film you want to make with audio and visuals. After writing scripts to be put into action, I learned how to properly act in a skit that made me look professional no matter what role I was portraying. Then I learned how to be a anchor on a news segment a few times in class.

Fran's Flashback

Over the last three years of my Broadcasting exprience, it has been difficult aas well as exciting. I had Mrs. Chillis the first two years and she was not always the most willing to teach. My first and second year I hadn't a clue of how to edit but thankfully I know more than what I did today. I also know how top operate the differnt types of cameras we have in Broadcasting. Finally, I will also take away how to express my thoughts and ideas with using video. Its a much more interesting way to convey something you would like to inform your audience about.

I have learned so much over the past 3 years in my BVP class. From leadership skills to tedious editing, I have gained a better understanding of production and video. I am still learning more and more and I plan to continue my studies in this area. I have grown to understand and respect BVP because it's not an easy industry. I do enjoy everything about the class and I am always ready to learn something new.

The past 2 years I have been in BVP I have learned quite alot. In the beginning I was kind of mad because I didnt know anything I was doing. But then I fell in love. I learned how to work and record video. I learned how to edit on a apple computer. I dont even have a mac at home and I became good at it. This class inspired me to get my own camera just to film and take photos outside of school.

In BVP I learned...

In BVP I learned how to use professional editing equipment and recording equipment. I have also learned how to properly act on camera, of camera, and on set. The number one thing I learned from BVP was that the way things appear on camera doesn't always mean it is that way.

Over the course of video broadcasting, I've learned the importance of working together as a team, how to edit your work and also the equipment that is used in video broadcast productions. Coming in not really knowing much about this career pathway, I have found the many advantages and disadvantages of BVP. In the future, I plan on working behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.

When I first received the project, i didn't know what i was going to do. As the days passed i realized i had to pick something. I thought about it, and i wanted to do a video on my life, and journey. I then started planning my video, and what i wanted to be apart of it. I wrote it down , and i planned when i was going to film. As i planned things changed, but the concept stayed the same. I started filming and now editing my final project.

At first I had trouble finding a topic to do my video on but i finally settled on a topic. I checked out a camera and started shooting where my video was going to be taking place. I then put all of my footage on the mac computer,i put my footage where it belonged and started editing.

At first I was having difficulty finding a topic. I thought about doing culinary but decided against it. I eventually decided to do ms. mamane as my idea. I shot a interview of her questions. Then I shot a overview of the room and the kids working. Now I am editing the video and doing the title for it.
