Planning is my favorite part of the film making procedure. I love seeing the gears that I created set in motion and actually put in use. Everyone i worked with where great to work with they believed in it back when we had to rewrite the whole script. And all the multiple takes i had to shoot. the post production was fairly simple, we shot linear so it would be easier to piece together all of the scenes. I enjoyed this type of work, and i love watching what i created, going from an idea to an actual image every one can see.

During the production we worked well together as a unit. We stayed on top of each other making sure that every one was ready when in came time to shoot. Most days everyone was prompt and we could shoot smoothly no delays. On other occasions we would have to wait or try to move on with production regardless of if we had everyone. All in all we came together to make the video work. It was fun but challenging at the same time.

Final Exam Reflection

I think my group's overall project was great but it didn't come out as expected.  Even though we had our differences in the beginning we still made sure everything was in order at the end.  Amadi and Christian were very dedicated and the made sure that they kept me in line when I got lazy.  I appreciate having partners such as these in my group.  Through working with them I also learned more editing and filming skills that I plan on using in the future. This has been one of my best films due to many learning experiences throughout the past two school years.

I had a nice and enjoyable time working with my partners.  The time we spent planning and creating the short film was of great use to me and I will use it for future reference.  Me and Justin helped to write and plan out the scenes and a bit of the dialogue, Kordell and Michael played roles behind the camera mostly, with Kordell being the director and Michael being cameraman.  Shian and Kiarah focused their talents in acting helping to bring some life and emotional depth to their characters.  The best part of the whole pre-production, production, post-production process, was bouncing ideas off of each other with my group members. #amhsbvp #bvpmamane #amhs

  Working with my partners was very interesting as well as enriching. Kordell and I (Michael Simmons) handled most of the pre production: Coming up with ideas, scriptwriting,etc. Coming up with the ideas was a difficult part but also the most creative part as we bounced ideas off each other. During the production stage, I was in charge of the videography while everybody was performing their part. The Production part was very tedious as our schedule and time were limited. Kordell and I finished the post prodcution part as we both edited (Re-edit and re-edit and, you get the idea). Overall working with partners was very interesting.

I feel as though we all contributed a great amount of time into this project. I was the videographer, amadi was the main one who edited, and kalyn helped with interviews and recording. I did the first episode, kalyn did the prom episode, and amadi did the final graduation episode. We all did a good job and in each video you see our different creative abilities. There were a few disagreements but we managed to come together in the end. I love the fact that we all put in time and effort in this project.

Describe how well you worked with your team members throughout each phase of pre-production, production and post-production. Be specific about who did what.


I worked well with the members of my team. We each had a different video to edit. through the whole production we worked good.There were often disagreements with who was doing what video.  Christian had the first episode which consisted of introducing everybody and different miscellaneous things that went on around the school. Kalyn did the second episode which was talking about prom. I had the last episode which was talking about graduation.

Producing a film

#amhsbvp Producing a film was a very fun experience, but it was very difficult. During this time, we learned about each other as we all worked together on this project. I also got a chance to show off my acting skills. While we did have a hard time during the way. I feel like we all had a great learning experience.

The Production Process

#amhsbvp Producing a film was hard work.  I handled the script writing process, which was pretty easy.   Most of the dialogue was mostly improv, and I just had to basically come with the scenarios the cast would be put in.  I also acted in the film, the hardest part was staying in character and making the jokes funny.  I will definitely remember this project because it helped me improve my scriptwriting.  I had a lot of fun.

The production of a204 was a short process. we filmed daily for nearly 2 weeks and consitently developed the script. We had a fun time while it lasted and continued make progress daily.#amhsbvp
